The Centaur Controller is a keypad operated vending machine control system. It is designed for use with many types of automatic drinks (or ingredients) dispenser, hot and cold. It is suitable for original machine manufacturers and retrofit applications. More than 1,000 units are in service.

Systems are available for Instant or Freshbrew drinks.

The Centaur interfaces directly with coin validators and serial change-givers and will handle up to ten coin values and ten prices, dependent upon the coin handling equipment.

Drinks prices, coin values and ingredient dispense times are readily programmable by the keypad, once the programme mode has been selected. A diagnostic mode enables drink strengths to be measured and overall machine performance evaluated.

The CTM series totalisers are multi-input counters with different count values for each input (1, 2, 5, 10, etc.). The maximum count value settable on the DIL switches is 255. Each of the count inputs can be used in combination, at separate times, to create the count total. A relay is energised when the target count is achieved.

Totaliser resetting is by removing the AC supply for 0.1 seconds. The CTM8D may be reset from an external contact and has a display option.

A sequence controller with power supplies for external use.

The 24 stage CWT20 sequence controller is designed as a self contained unit, providing an internal cycle counter and a heavy duty power supply for external use.

The number of stages (1-24), the cycle times (up to 9999 second) and the output relays per step (1-8) are all programmable by the external plug in programmer. A common relay is provided which is operated throughout the cycle and may be used to switch external contactors or counters or provide interlock facilities.

Six separate programmes may be programmed and can be called up by individual external contacts. Integral coin totalising facilities are provided enabling the unit to be used in vending type applications.
