ADSC Acceleration Monitor
The
ADSC monitors rotating equipment and gives warning of unacceptable
rates of change of speed.
Using
a magnetic perception head in conjunction with a toothed wheel
the system operates an external relay or solenoid when acceleration
exceeds a pre-set limit. Alarm signals are provided for sensor
failure and important internal components.
Applications
include: Anti skid, Traction control, Rate monitoring, Clutch
slip detection, Brake testing, over and under speed warning.
Features
of the ADSC Acceleration monitor include:
- Self
monitoring - failure of the magnetic sensor or its leads
operates an alarm output.
- Rapid
response time for indicating trends.
- Supply
voltage compatible with commercial vehicles.
- Rugged
construction for use in vibration prone surroundings.
- Fail
safe operation of major components
- High
current output for direct operation of external loads
- Solid
state switching for alarms and control

SFM130 Speedometer / Tachometer with Alarm
The
SFM130 programmable speedometer / tachometer is suitable for
use on vehicles or in applications where 12 Volt or 24 Volt
DC supplies are available. A low voltage speedo / tacho designed
for mobile use with a daylight reflective LCD display.
Optional
internal relays (24 V DC) can be supplied which can operate
at pre-set levels. The programmable LCD display indicates
speed from less than 1 to greater than 9999 rpm.
Sensing
is carried out by contactless proximity sensors, encoders
or optical devices.
Programming
is normally factory pre-set. A low cost keypad is available
for on-site modifications.
Features
Include:
- Clear
12 mm LCD display
- Pre
programmed
- 12
or 24 Volt display
- Can
be used with most pulse sensors.

TOM2P Speedometer / Odometer
The
combined Speedometer / Odometer system provides speed and
revolution count information from a rotating shaft. The speed
indicator is pre-calibrated and the Odometer reading is programmable
by onboard DIL switches.
Shaft sensing is carried out by counting bolts or gear teeth
on the rotating shaft. A contactless proximity sensor is used
for this purpose. The analogue meter can be calibrated in
most units. The 6 digit counter in non-resettable.
The
system is housed in a water resistant enclosure and is suitable
for special purpose vehicles or mobile plant machinery. The
voltage supply can be 12 Volts or 24 Volts DC.

The
TOM4 rotation monitor provides digital readouts of speed and
revolution count. Suitable for use in a variety of vehicle
based applications. When used in a truckmixer the TOM4 can
sense from the drum or gearbox, or symmetrically spaced bolt
heads on the drum itself. Where propshaft monitoring is required
the instrument can be configured to accommodate various gear
ratios and propshaft couplings.
Essentially
a digital version of the TOM2, the unit is suitable for operation
with very low pulse rates. The supply voltage is 24 Volt DC.
The speed display, odometer or rev counter are keypad programmable.
Optional
speed switch can be fitted for alarm or control purposes.
Digital
LCD version of the TOM2 with a wider speed range.
The TOM4 is fitted with the Auto Calibration system
Applications
include Truck mixers, Commercial vehicles, Agricultural machinery,
Test equipment, Marine Engines, Flow meter monitoring.
Features
include:
- Fully
digital display
- Non
contact pulse sensing
- Water
resistant IP65 enclosure
- Programmable
over a wide speed range
- Optional
speed switch
- 24
Volt DC power supply.

TOM5 Vehicle Speedometer and Odometer
The
TOM5 system consists of a cab mounting digital instrument
and a contactless proximity sensor. The four digit LCD display
indicates speed in rpm or number of revolutions completed.
Optional
internal relays are available to give alarm signals on under
or over speed and pre-set count.
The
relays may be used to drive indicator lamps, audible warning
devices or suitable control devices. Most types of proximity
sensor may be employed to suit your individual requirements.
The
low speed capability of the TOM5 Speedometer / Odometer simplifies
the choice of sensing method.
Applications
include: Truck mixers, Commercial Vehicles, Aircraft tugs,
Test equipment, Agricultural machinery, forklift trucks, Marine
engines, Flow meter monitoring, Diesel generators.
Features
Include:
- Non
contact sensing, with a range of proximity sensors.
- Programmable
system, pre-programmed if required.
- Dual
LCD displays for speed and revolution count reduces physical
size.
- Low
speed capability choice of sensor and sensing point.
- Optional
alarm relays for alarm, indication or control purposes.
