The IN4 12GN sensor is widely used with our standard range of tachometers & systems. The 4mm sensing range is ideal for many speed measurement applications. It is housed in a 12mm diameter threaded tube & has an unshielded sensing end. Suitable for sensing individual boltheads or larger pitch gearwheels it is a good choice when resolution of fine gear teeth or small targets is not required. The unsheilded sensing end must be clear of surrounding metal other than the target.
The IN1.5 8GN is used with our standard range of tachometers & systems. The 1.5mm sensing range is usefulwhere gear wheels or targets with small pitches are to be sensed. The shielded sensing end contains the sensing field (1.5mm) within the diameter of the sensor.
IN2 12GN Inductive is optionally used with our standard range of tachometers & systems. The 2mm sensing range is useful where gear pitches of around 12mm need to be reliabley detected.
The IN8 18GN is optionally used with our standard range of tachometers & systems. The 8mm sensing range is useful when larger sensing distances are required. It is housed in an 18mm diameter threaded tube & has an unshielded sensing end. The unshielded end must be clear of surrounding metal other than the target gear wheel etc.
The IN20 30GN may be used where sensing distance need to be maximised. It would normally be used for single targets ( not gear wheels or holes in a plate) as the sensing field is quite wide.
