Marine Tachometer with four level speed switch.

The FLC speed switch and tachometer is designed to provide speed readout and control facilities for industrial and marine applications.

A toothed wheel is mounted on the rotating shaft to be monitored and a magnetic or inductive probe is used to generates a pulse signal with a frequency proportional to shaft speed.

Several indicators may be driven by the voltage output produced, with a total current requirements of 20 mA. Four speed level trips are incorporated in the system, which may be set to any point within the speed range.
