| FV25A Reversible Marine Tachometer & Monitor |
Analogue
speed indication with reversing interlock facility.
The
FV25A Marine Tachometer is a heavy duty speed indication and
monitoring system which is suitable for use with reversible
machinery.
Sensing
is carried out by two magnetic or proximity sensors operating
in conjunction with a toothed wheel, symmetrically spaced
bolt heads or similar ferrous parts. The sensors are mechanically
arranged to give signals which identify the direction of rotation.
The
control card processes the sensor signals and produces a voltage
proportional to speed and direction. Isolated relay contacts
are available which may be used for interlocking purposes.
When
used with a centre zero meter the system becomes a complete
reversible speed indication system.
Applications
include; Marine Engine speed indications and monitoring, Rotational
interlock for reversing machinery, Direction indication for
variable speed drives, Mobile equipment monitoring systems.
Features
Include:
- Switchable
frequency ranges via onboard DIL switch
- Meter
drive output for multiple indicators
- Reversing
relay contacts for alarms and interlocks
- Magnetic
or Inductive proximity sensor versions available
- 24V

| FLC10 Marine Tachometer & Speed Switch |
Marine
Tachometer with four level speed switch.
The
FLC speed switch and tachometer is designed to provide speed
readout and control facilities for industrial and marine applications.
A
toothed wheel is mounted on the rotating shaft to be monitored
and a magnetic or inductive probe is used to generates a pulse
signal with a frequency proportional to shaft speed.
Several
indicators may be driven by the voltage output produced, with
a total current requirements of 20 mA. Four speed level trips
are incorporated in the system, which may be set to any point
within the speed range.
Features
Include:
- Heavy
duty meter drive - 10 Volts with 20 mA load capacity
- Basic
24 Volt fused supply for mobile applications
- Optional
