DFM100 Digital LED TachometerStock Number: 70-0201
Panel mounting with DIN 96 mm x 48 mm Outline. A cost effective, well proven and high accuracy tachometer. Our popular panel mounting system.

The DFM100 series tachometer measures the time interval between pulses and computes the corresponding speed value. A custom designed microprocessor system enables the DFM100 tachometer to measure speeds of less than 1 rpm and greater than 100,000 rpm.

The programmable display can be set to read out in most engineering units and the decimal point can also be suitable positioned. Speed measurement is achieved by a contactless sensor in close proximity to the moving component. Pulses are generated by rotating gearwheels, bolt heads or keyways which induce signals within the sensor. The signals are processed by the display module and a highly accurate digital speed is displayed.

Pulse tachometers are most often used with proximity sensors. However, magnetic, optical or capacitive sensors may also be specified. In some cases, separate power supplies may be required. On site adjustments can be carried out with an optional plug-in keypad.

Tachometer Features Include:

  • Extremely versatile. The system may be programmed to accept pulses from existing bolt heads, toothed wheels or keyways.
  • Cost Effective; the use of contactless sensors eliminates expensive mechanical connections.
  • Programming is normally carried out prior to delivery. However, a plug-in keypad is available for on-site programming.
  • Installation involves mounting the indicator in a panel and the sensor near to the rotating component.
  • Wide range - speeds from less than 1 rpm to greater than 100,000 rpm.
  • Floating Decimal Point display as standard
  • Integer RPM display option for 1 pulse/revolution.
  • Multi Sensor Amplifier for most transducers.
  • Dual supply 115 or 230V AC, with a 24V Ac option.
Specifications:
SUPPLY: 115 or 230 Volt AC, 24 Volt AC option.

DFM125 Multi function Tachometer with SensorStock Number: 70-2701
An extremely versatile unit with front panel programming and internal DIL switches. Many special features may be added or selected.

The DFM125 Multi Function Tachometer is a computing type tachometer with an integral front panel keypad. The large, bright LED display is fully programmable and capable of reading out in most engineering units.

The instrument measures the time between pulses and computes the corresponding speed or rate value. Speeds from 0.1 rpm to 100,000 rpm can be measured by this method. Speed measurement is by contactless sensors working in conjunction with rotating gear wheels, bolt heads or keyways, etc.

The DFM125 Tachometer can be set to operate in a variety of dynamic situations. The tachometer has a variable display update rate, a pulse averaging facility and adjustable readout precision. It can operate in fixed or floating decimal point or full integer mode. Options of sample and hold analogue output or dual relay operation are available over the complete speed range.

The DFM125 tachometer is equipped with a three button front panel keypad. Programming of display readout, set points, analogue scaling and other required options can be readily carried out. A rear mounting plug is also provided for programming by a separate keypad.

Features Include:

  • Large 14 mm bright LED display with fixed or floating decimal point.
  • Readout in RPM or engineering Units to suit most applications.
  • Front panel LED for sensor operation, alarm levels and x 10 display reading.
  • Simple programming from front panel via three switches or optional rear plug-in keypad.
  • Variable update time for fast or slow response requirements.
  • Display averaging function for fluctuating measurement situations.
  • Variable program access control for security purposes.
  • Adjustable readout precision with rounding-up capability.
  • Integral Sensor supply.
  • Retransmitted pulse output for interface to other instrumentation.
  • Auto Calibration.
