An extremely versatile unit with front panel programming and internal DIL switches. Many special features may be added or selected.

The DFM125 Multi Function Tachometer is a computing type tachometer with an integral front panel keypad. The large, bright LED display is fully programmable and capable of reading out in most engineering units.

The instrument measures the time between pulses and computes the corresponding speed or rate value. Speeds from 0.1 rpm to 100,000 rpm can be measured by this method. Speed measurement is by contactless sensors working in conjunction with rotating gear wheels, bolt heads or keyways, etc.

The DFM125 Tachometer can be set to operate in a variety of dynamic situations. The tachometer has a variable display update rate, a pulse averaging facility and adjustable readout precision. It can operate in fixed or floating decimal point or full integer mode. Options of sample and hold analogue output or dual relay operation are available over the complete speed range.

The DFM125 tachometer is equipped with a three button front panel keypad. Programming of display readout, set points, analogue scaling and other required options can be readily carried out. A rear mounting plug is also provided for programming by a separate keypad.
