Vehicle/Mobile Tachometers are intended for use on 24 Volt d.c supplies for commercial vehicles, railways & marine applications. 12V options are available for car type systems.
The 12 Volt & 24 Volt d.c tachometers are separate models.
Most displays in this section are of the LCD or liquid crystal display type.
Tachometers are available for panel mounting or surface mounting operation.
Where operation is required outside the cab of the vehicle an IP65 water resistant enclosure should be chosen. These are usually surface mounting types in a sealed box.
Sensors used for vehicle & mobile operation are pulse generating types & can take the form of magnetic, Inductive proximity or Hall Effect types.
All sensors should be sealed against water & oil resistant,having an IP67 rating.
