The ISH12E d.c. proximity sensors are suitable for detecting ferrous or non ferrous metals. ISH type sensors are designed to be directly interfaced with electronic equipment and require a switching amplifier. They have two wire connections. If ISH sensors are to be used independently, a switching amplifier is necessary.
